The mission of Sunday Bible School is to teach the Word of God. It serves as an instrument to transform lives, restore hearts, equip believers, and form a new generation of people who love God and serve Him with excellence, dedication, and commitment. Through teaching, we foster reflection and understanding that lead to spiritual maturity.

Our Basic Courses

We offer three important foundational courses for everyone who is part of Church On The Rock, Katy. These courses serve as the foundation for spiritual maturity and for serving God and the congregation in any ministry you choose to be part of.

On The Rock

This course studies the basic and sound doctrine that Church On The Rock, Katy believes in. It allows individuals to ground their faith on the Rock, who is Christ Jesus. The course is designed for those who are new to the congregation and desire to become members of the church.

My Experience with God:

This course teaches how God speaks to us today and helps individuals discover God’s purpose for their lives.

Integrated Leadership

This course prepares leaders based on the guidelines the Lord gave when teaching His disciples. All members who wish to start a ministry in the church need to take this course after completing On The Rock, Inner Healing, and My Experience with God.

Importance of 

Sunday Bible School

Education is the foundation for the development of every human being. Based on this principle, we believe that religious education must be relevant, and the teaching of God’s Word should be encouraged by everyone who desires to live a full and successful Christian life. Within the functional structure of Church On The Rock, Katy, there is one organization that is especially important: Sunday Bible School  is essential and intertwined with the very essence of the church. In Acts 2:42, we find the key to the success of the early church: “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.…”  A solid biblical structure in the church provides the means for members to enjoy a victorious life aligned with God’s purposes. Through teaching, Sunday Bible School raises individuals to the level God desires:  “who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth..”
